Shorebirds Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
The Delmarva Shorebirds rode a solid performance from 23-year-old starting pitcher Aurelio Gobbi to a win, beating the Hagerstown Suns, 3-2, at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Today's win puts Delmarva at 32-14, while Hagerstown falls to 9-37.

Manny Salinas was the walk-off hero for Delmarva. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Shorebirds designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I really like what we did out there today," Gobbi said after the game.
