Suns Prevail, 1-0, Over Lexington

The Hagerstown Suns tallied a win at Municipal Stadium, throttling the Lexington Legends, 1-0. Starting pitcher Bob Johnson was a big reason for his team's success. The winner was Johnson. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Ben Tucker. By defeating Lexington, the last-place Suns improved to 16-22.
Eric Lawson drove in one run for Hagerstown. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Ben Tucker. It was his 4th RBI of the season.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Johnson.
