The Greenville Drive and Hickory Crawdads provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Greenville Drive got a sterling performance from pitcher José Reyna, but the Hickory Crawdads still prevailed, 4-3. Reyna threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Hickory currently is in last place in the Northern Division at 14-23.

The knockout blow came in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when first baseman José Pérez stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Greenville manager Nelson Paulino.
