Grasshoppers Roll to 8-2 Win Over Suns
Brad Connolly was a major factor in the 8-2 Greensboro win over Hagerstown. The Grasshoppers shortstop went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Jim Scholz. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The loss drops the Suns to 11-11.

Greensboro used the timely hitting of Huang-fu Chang to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Grasshoppers on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Chang.
