Hagerstown second baseman Randy Williamson made his presence felt in the 7-4 Suns triumph over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Williamson went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win was credited to 22-year old right-handed pitcher Chandler McIntyre in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Connor Guiney took the loss. Jesús Valdéz earned his 6th save, after closing out the game.

Hagerstown took a 5-4 lead on Jorge Olvera's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Olvera hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Greensboro pitcher Brit Wells visibly frustrated.

"Whenever I help the team," said Williamson, "it sort of justifies my place on the roster."

The loss drops Greensboro to 13-8.
