The Hagerstown Suns rode a solid performance from 20-year-old starting pitcher Jim Richmond to a win, beating the Lakewood BlueClaws, 5-2, at First Energy Park. Lakewood is 2-4 after the loss.

Dave Doyle aided the Hagerstown cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Doyle told the Hagerstown Citizen.
