Season-Ending Injury for Beard Saturday, August 30th , 2025 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Texas (DSL)'s Elijah Beard to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/28/2025 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Beard said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Beard has been out of action since he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament. This season in 6 starts, Elijah Beard has a record of 1-2 with 38 strikeouts in 32 innings and a 5.34 ERA. |
