Hits Galore: Reynolds Drills 5 Hits Friday, August 29th , 2025 It was a great day at the plate for Tony Reynolds. For his New York A 2 (DSL) Yankees 2, the day was not nearly as good. The center fielder collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue snatched the victory, topping the Yankees 2 by a score of 9-3. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Reynolds said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Tony Reynolds singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season, Reynolds is hitting .279 with 6 home runs. View Boxscore |
