Thompson Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, August 28th , 2025 Greg Thompson of the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 4-1 triumph over Minnesota (DSL) at New York Mets Complex. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Thompson said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Greg Thompson grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 5th and struck out in the 6th. Thus far this season, Thompson has hit .329 with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and scored 40 times. |
