The Math Says - Oakland (DSL) Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 The Oakland (DSL) Athletics may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in Dominican Rookie League. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Athletics manager Jonathan Lucroy said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Oakland (DSL) hasn't yet made it to the postseason. They haven't made the playoffs in all 11 years of their history. |
