Mason Blisters Arizona (DSL) Friday, July 18th , 2025 Houston 1 (DSL) right fielder Ric Mason had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks at Baseball City Complex as the Astros Blue picked up a win, 12-10. "He was patient up there," Houston 1 (DSL) skipper Ryan Christenson told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Mason has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Ric Mason tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year, Mason has hit at a .395 clip with 34 hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored. View Boxscore |
