Burgess Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, July 16th , 2025 Beau Burgess was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Academia de Abel Garcia, the Los Angeles (DSL) second baseman blistered the Texas 2 (DSL) Rangers 2 for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 15-3 victory. "Burgess was too tough to get out," Rangers 2 skipper Kieran Mattison said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Beau Burgess singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
