Juan Vega discovered that today at Pittsburgh Pirates Complex, as he smashed three home runs during the 11-7 New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 win over the Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 1. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the New York A (DSL) left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Vega finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 4 RBIs. Juan Vega hit a solo-shot off José Soto in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Greg Larson in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Greg Larson in the 8th.
