Harris on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2023 Today the Dominican Rookie League announced the Player of the Week Award. This week's honoree is Detroit (DSL)'s talented left fielder Merlin Harris. When he steps into the batter's box, it's usually a bad omen for pitchers. For the week Harris batted .625 (10-for-16) with 9 home runs and 15 RBIs. So far this year Harris is batting .422 with 20 home runs, 39 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
