Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Martin Sunday, August 13th , 2023 Eric Martin ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Houston Astros Complex Orange, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue dropped the game, 6-1, to the Detroit (DSL) Tigers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Martin said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Eric Martin struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. To date, Martin has collected 54 hits for a .344 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 28 runs and driven in 25 runs. |
