Rose Sizzles -- Smokes Diamondbacks for 5 Hits Thursday, June 29th , 2023 It was a big day for Steve Rose and he brought the New York N (DSL) Mets 1 along for the ride. Rose led his club to a 9-1 victory over the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks today at Baseball City Complex, smoking Arizona (DSL) pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 23-year-old center fielder later called the victory "sweet." Steve Rose hit a solo-shot off Max Tucker in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Max Tucker in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off José Ortíz in the 6th and tripled in the 9th.
