Poole Socks It to White Sox, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, September 13th , 2025 Randy Poole was at the head of a Cincinnati (AZL) hit parade at Camelback Ranch. The shortstop went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Reds to a nice 12-6 victory over the Chicago A (AZL) White Sox. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Poole told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." White Sox skipper Jared Hughes said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Randy Poole grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Rob Wolfe in the 9th.
