Armitage Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Monday, August 18th , 2025 Norm Armitage of the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 2 hits in today's 5-1 triumph over Oakland (AZL) at Papago Park Sports Facility. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Armitage said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Norm Armitage walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Thus far this season, Armitage has hit .293 with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 29 times. |
