Chicago N (AZL) Halts Correa's Hitting Steak Saturday, July 19th , 2025 The hitting streak that San Francisco (AZL) right fielder Jesús Correa had kept going for 23 games was ended by the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs. Correa was stymied over 2 at-bats, but the rest of his team picked him up, getting the 4-0 victory at Scottsdale Stadium. "Hitting streaks come and go," Correa said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win." This season, Correa is hitting .370 with 5 home runs. |
