Soto Slaps 5 Hits Thursday, July 31st , 2025 It was a parade of hits for Pancho Soto of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes at Volcanoes Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Soto finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Volcanoes to a win, 5-4. "Soto was really good and we were really bad," groaned Emeralds manager Mike Benjamin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Pancho Soto singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
