Volcanoes Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes downed the Eugene Emeralds, 5-4, at Volcanoes Stadium. Pancho Soto led the way, going 5-for-5 for Salem-Keizer. Reliever Pete Albright picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Rodrigo Vargas took the loss. At 28-30, Salem-Keizer is in last place in the West Division.

Edgar Hernández was the walk-off hero for Salem-Keizer. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Volcanoes catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Salem-Keizer manager Jemel Spearman called it "a darn good win."
