Charleston Dazzled, Harvey Hurls No-Hitter Monday, June 1st , 2026 In a dominant outing, Ed Harvey of the Savannah Sand Gnats totally silenced the bats of the Charleston RiverDogs, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 2-0 victory, Harvey faced only 32 batters, surrendered no hits, had 11 strikeouts and 5 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Savannah manager Tyler Colvin said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Brian Rupp told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game. "The Sand Gnats had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Harvey pitched a heck of a ballgame." So far this season, Harvey has a 3-3 record with a 1.95 ERA.
