Greenville Hopeless Against Lester
Tuesday, April 14th , 2026
Stan Lester was in a mood to talk following the Charleston RiverDogs contest against the Greenville Drive, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Drive, 1-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Lester said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Greenville on a 5-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 6 strikeouts.
