Star of the Week Selected in SAL Monday, September 8th , 2025 Mike Porter made quite a splash in the South Atlantic League this past week. The Hagerstown Suns second baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 14 hits in 30 at-bats to roll up a .467 batting average and the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed no home runs, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. To date, Porter has collected 138 hits for a .306 average. He has posted 12 home runs, scored 41 runs and driven in 47 runs. |
