Simmons of Kannapolis Player of the Week Monday, June 9th , 2025 It was an exceptional week for Sammy Simmons of the Kannapolis Intimidators. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .625 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the South Atlantic League. Last week Simmons went 15-for-24, notched 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 8 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. This season, Simmons is batting .290 with 25 RBIs, 35 runs scored and 7 home runs. |
