Razor-Sharp Brown Blanks Cedar Rapids Friday, July 24th , 2026 Steve Brown kept the Cedar Rapids Kernels hitters from doing much damage at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Cedar Rapids could only muster 4 hits and draw 3 walks against the right-handed Brown, who controlled them throughout the game. Bowling Green won the contest, 6-0. Brown added 7 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Brown told reporters after the shutout win.
