In the Wisconsin's 13-0 win over Fort Wayne, second baseman Brendan Thompson was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Thompson said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Brendan Thompson hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
