Week's Best Player Honored by MID Monday, June 29th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Jerry Vance of the Lansing Lugnuts. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .600, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Midwest League. Last week Vance went 12-for-20, racked up 1 home run and 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Lansing first baseman. So far on the season, Vance is hitting .316 with 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 67 hits and played in 51 games. |
