Great Stroke: Pettifer Gets 5 Hits Sunday, June 28th , 2026 West Michigan defeated Fort Wayne at Fifth Third Ballpark. The star of the game for the Whitecaps was second baseman Joe Pettifer. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for West Michigan's 25-3 triumph over the TinCaps. Joe Pettifer singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
