MID Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Announced Friday, October 10th , 2025 Dave Johnson had a sensational 2025 season in the Midwest League. The West Michigan pitching machine has been proclaimed this year's Outstanding Pitcher Award recipient. This season Johnson starred with a 13-5 record. In 20 starts he gave up 148 base hits and struck out 142 in 148 innings with a 2.07 ERA. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 16. Stan Valentine of the Clinton LumberKings finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Eric Beach of the Beloit Snappers finished third.
