Shaw Socks It to Chiefs, Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, September 2nd , 2025 All game long, Burlington's Nate Shaw was rattling the walls at Dozer Park and banging out base hits against the Peoria Chiefs. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Bees had a win, 10-3. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old catcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Nate Shaw grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Pete Purser in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
