Timber Rattlers End Sánchez Streak Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 The 23-game hitting streak of Luis Sánchez has come to an end. The Peoria Chiefs third baseman went 0-for-3 in his team's 8-1 loss to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. "It's not just Luis who came up short," Chiefs manager Phil Nevin said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." Currently Sánchez is batting .379 with 2 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
