Kelley Torches Hot Rods for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 Kevin Kelley was unstoppable, but the Great Lakes Loons were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Dow Diamond, the Loons lost, 9-7, to the Bowling Green Hot Rods. Kelley battered Bowling Green for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Kelley just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits."
