James Stops Peoria Cold, Loons Win, 5-0 Thursday, July 24th , 2025 Great Lakes Loons left-hander Joe James used his full arsenal to shoot down the Peoria Chiefs, 5-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 1 walk and striking out 8. James allowed 3 hits in the victory. "It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Peoria was on a way, way different page," James said.
