Hot Rods Not Competitive in 6-0 Loss to Lake County Friday, July 11th , 2025 Don Williams was dynamite at Classic Park, blowing away the Bowling Green Hot Rods in a shutout victory. The Lake County Captains starter had everything working as he held the Hot Rods to 7 hits in the 6-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Bowling Green skipper James Hoyt. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Williams finished the game with 6 strikeouts and no walks.
