Snappers Win, 2-0, as Beach Mystifies Kane County Thursday, June 12th , 2025 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Kane County Cougars as starter Eric Beach shut them out, 2-0, at Harry C. Pohlman Field. The Beloit pitcher struck out 12 and walked 1 while allowing 5 hits. "Beach was good but he wasn't flawless," Kane County manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Beloit, but this is on us."
