Lakeland Wins Round 1 Sunday, September 13th , 2026 The Lakeland Flying Tigers are riding high after knocking off the Dunedin Blue Jays in the Round 1. "We're feeling confident now and that's half the battle," said Chip Wurzburg, who was named series MVP. "You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this." Lakeland won the final game by a 9-3 count at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium and the series 3-1. For the series, Wurzburg hit .471 with a .500 on-base percentage.
