Injury Sidelines Tait for Season Saturday, September 5th , 2026 Clearly dejected, Sam Tait left the Jupiter clubhouse nearly in tears this afternoon. He acknowledged that his season is over after sustaining a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in a ballgame recently. It brings an early end to the Jupiter reliever's season. So far this season, Tait has a 6-0 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 10 relief appearances, logged 26.2 innings and fanned 25 batters while fashioning a 2.36 ERA and allowing the opposition a .242 batting average. |
