FSL's Best Hurler is Ramírez Tuesday, October 7th , 2025 This past season was very special for Albert Ramírez of the Lakeland Flying Tigers. He picked up 11 wins against only 7 losses and was chosen the winner of the 2025 Florida State League Outstanding Pitcher Award. The 21-year-old Flying Tigers ace fashioned a fine 2.32 ERA in 24 starts. He threw 155.1 innings, gave up 157 hits, 30 walks and held opponents to a .258 average. Ramírez fanned 130 batters this season. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Sean Bevins of the Lakeland Flying Tigers finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while José López of the Clearwater Threshers finished third.
