Marauders Win Round 1 Tuesday, September 16th , 2025 Florida State League fans were certainly not disappointed with this Florida State League Round 1. The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Bradenton Marauders prevailing over the St. Lucie Mets to advance to the Round 2. Bradenton won the final game by a score of 1-0 at Tradition Field and that sealed the series 3-2. "Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said right fielder Eric Wilkerson, who earned MVP honors. For the series, Wilkerson hit .333 with a .391 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Bradenton Marauders will play against the Lakeland Flying Tigers in the next round.
