Houston Leads Palm Beach to 8-0 Win Over Fort Myers Sunday, August 31st , 2025 In a remarkable performance, Palm Beach Cardinals starter Tony Houston beat the Fort Myers Miracle, 8-0, in an impressive 8-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Cardinals hurler finished with 11 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Fort Myers manager Tony Thomas said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
