Brandt Electric in 1-0 St. Lucie Win Friday, August 4th , 2023 Josh Brandt of the St. Lucie Mets humiliated the Clearwater Threshers at Tradition Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 1 hit. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Clearwater manager Eli Marrero, after the game. Brandt whiffed 10 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Brandt said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." So far this season Brandt has a record of 8-4 with 74 strikeouts and 14 walks in 96.1 innings and a 2.34 ERA. View Boxscore |
