Gallegos Goes on Rampage Against Hammerheads Saturday, July 15th , 2023 It was a sensational day at the plate for António Gallegos as he led the charge to a 6-5 win over the Hammerheads. The Fort Myers first baseman was pure misery for the Jupiter pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Gallegos put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said John Tamargo Jr., manager for the Hammerheads, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." António Gallegos grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 10th, singled in the 11th, walked in the 14th and singled in the 16th.
