Off-Field Accident Injures Sergio Martínez Saturday, September 19th , 2026 Sergio Martínez, starting pitcher for the Carolina Mudcats, suffered a concussion while showing off on his motorcycle. Team doctors said the off-field injury could sideline Martínez for about 10 months. Looking at his season stats, Martínez has won 16 and lost 11, collecting 213 strikeouts and 80 walks in 209.2 innings with a 3.82 ERA. |
