Borras Smacks 5 Hits for Hillcats Friday, September 4th , 2026 Anastasio Borras really sizzled at the plate in his team's 19-2 win over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The Lynchburg first baseman blistered Myrtle Beach for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Borras was too tough to get out today," the Pelicans skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Anastasio Borras doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Charlie Best in the 6th and doubled in the 7th.
