CAR Player of the Week Goes to Carlson of Lynchburg Monday, April 27th , 2026 It was a week to remember for Bret Carlson. After wrapping up a torrid week at the plate, the Lynchburg Hillcats shortstop was named the Carolina League Player of the Week. Carlson collected 12 hits in 23 at-bats for a .522 average. He also accounted for 11 RBIs, 3 home runs and scored 7 runs. So far this season, Carlson has recorded a .420 batting average with 21 hits, 3 home runs, 14 RBIs, 15 runs scored and a .531 OBP. |
