Early Season End for Suárez Sunday, August 3rd , 2025 Jon Suárez has to call it a season. The Inland Empire 66ers closer learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 07/31/2025 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. The team will likely place Suárez on the injured list today. Suárez has no saves in no relief appearances this season with a 2-2 mark and 1.52 ERA. In 29.2 innings he has 36 strikeouts and 6 walks. Other clubs are hitting .152 against him. |
