Mills Collects Cycle Tuesday, June 13th , 2023 It is rare for players to collect a single, double, triple and home run in one game, so it's a special moment when it happens. Bobby Mills savored such a moment today, going 4-for-5 and hitting for the cycle against the Modesto Nuts. Unfortunately for Mills, that was all he could savor, as his Rancho Cucamonga Quakes lost the contest by a score of 7-5. After the game, the shortstop was in no mood to talk about the hitting feat, calling it "pointless trivia." "Nobody cares if I went 0-for-5 or 1-for-5 or 4-for-5," Mills said. "7-5. That's the only line anyone around here cares about today." Bobby Mills doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ed Hall in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run triple in the 9th.
