Akron Won't Make Playoffs Monday, September 7th , 2026 José Fierro said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Akron RubberDucks after they missed the Eastern League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The RubberDucks are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 12 seasons in the EL. |
