Eastern League Announces #1 Player Monday, September 1st , 2025 It was an extraordinary week for José Hernández of the Altoona Curve. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .481, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Eastern League. Last week Hernández went 13-for-27, racked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Altoona center fielder. This year, Hernández is hitting .280 with 6 home runs. |
